Do you want to get up close and personal with the giraffes at Zoo Boise? This event is for the early birds because only the first guests to arrive get to feed them. Arrive a few minutes early to ensure a spot! Stay and enjoy the rest of the animals, including a new wallaby exhibit and goat feeding station. Pack a lunch or eat on site.

10.00 am Come join us to celebrate Just Because Day, a day when we make something unexpectedly nice for someone even though there may be no special reason! Children will be making butterfly handprint paintings for that special person: a grandparent, a friend, a pediatrician etc.

Lakeside Lavender Farm Festival - Join us to check out the Festival along Lake Lowell. You can gravest your own lavender plants, browse the crafts, get a massage, attend a class (Lavender Wand Making, Cooking with Lavender, Essential Oil Demonstration, to name a few). There will be live music and lavender-centered box lunches available.

Botanical Garden Tour - This introduction to the Idaho Botanical Garden encourages young students to use their senses to explore nature. During this lesson they will compare plants to themselves, learn about plant parts, meet an earthworm, and go on an exploratory walk through the Garden.
